Welcome to the final part in this six part series on the Twelve Laws of the Universe. I hope it has been as enjoyable for you to read as it has been for me to write.
I have learnt a lot whilst working on this series and it has also made me realise where I have been falling short in my own journey with the Laws of the Universe.
There have been moments, along the way, where my faith has wavered, but, on the whole, I have overcome these hurdles and have learnt a great deal about myself, my journey, the Universal Laws and how we can all apply them to our own lives. Most importantly, for me, I have realised that this is truly what I want to do in life. I want to help others discover the power they have within them to become whatever they want to be. To have the life they have always dreamed of. I am not there yet, but I know I am on my way. I now fully understand the ebb and flow and how it is all a part of the journey.
Today we are looking at the Law of Rhythm and the Law of Gender.
The Law of Rhythm
Everything flows, out and in; everything has it’s tides;
all things rise and fall;
the pendulum swing manifests in everything;
the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left;
rhythm compensates – Kybalion
The Law of Rhythm teaches us that everything has a flow. If it goes up it must come down, it swings to the left, therefore, it must swing to the right. Ebb and flow, to and fro, in and out.
As we learnt with the Law of Polarity everything has an opposite. If it goes one way it must go the other way. We have high points in life and low points. We cannot have one without the other. The trick is to remember that when the chips are down things can only get better.
“When you are on a down swing, do not feel bad. Know the swing will change and things will get better. There are good times coming, think of them.” – Bob Proctor
There is an order to everything. Nothing is ever chaotic. The Law of Rhythm is always working. We see it in nature, in our seasons. One flows effortlessly into the other.
We see it in our economy. Before every low there is a high and after every high there is a low. It is the Law.
There is a rhythm to everything. We are born and we die. For every death there is a birth. The circle of life continues. Order prevails. The natural rhythm of life continues moving in an orderly fashion.
To apply this Law to our lives we must remember that for every low there must, by Law, follow a high. Do not look upon the low periods in your life as punishments or never ending holes of despair. See them for what they are, lessons preparing you for the high that is on it’s way. How can you truly appreciate the highs without the lows. Without one there cannot be the other. Everything happens for a reason, we must find the reason and learn from it in order to allow the pendulum to swing the other way. We must accept the low periods for what they are and move with the flow of the tide. If we chose not to accept them then we will forever be fighting against the tide and ultimately the tide always wins and we will be left defeated and exhausted.
The Law of Gender
The Law of Gender is as simply as it sounds. Every masculine has a feminine and visa versa. In the physical realm we are all manifest in either masculine or feminine form but ultimately we are all androgynous with both male and female qualities it is only our dominant quality that determines our gender on the physical plane.
Everything in nature has it’s masculine and feminine. This is how everything is created. We cannot have one without the other. Both parts are needed. We must accept this in order to progress and grow. No side is more important, stronger or dominant than the other. One cannot work without the other. To fully appreciate all there is in life one must accept this Law. We were all created equal. Opposite sides of the same coin.
“This is, in truth, the Creative Law. This Law decrees that everything in nature is both male and female. Both are required for life to exist.” – Bob Proctor
This Law tells us that all things need time to grow. Everything from a human child to a mighty oak takes time. We must nurture it and allow it the time to germinate, to sprout and to slowly transform into the wondrous creation it was meant to be. We cannot rush nature. To rush nature is to interrupt the process and in doing so we ultimately damage the end result.
Think of your dreams as tiny seeds that need to be planted, tended to, watered, loved and cared for. Each stage requires a different level of care. You cannot rush the process or the seedling will die before it has had chance to grow. Your dreams are the same. You must nurture them, love and care for them. Allowing them time to manifest. To reach your true potential you have to allow yourself time to grow.
I read a beautiful story on another blog (Sparklyjen.com) about a butterfly that I think fits this law perfectly.
Thank you for joining me on this six week journey through the Laws of the Universe. I really hope they have helped inspire you in some way and that you have a better understanding of how the Universal Laws work. I think it is clear that they are all needed for us to manifest a life that fulfils our true potential.
