The Three Keys To Success

WHAT MAKES ONE MAN SUCCESSFUL AND ANOTHER NOT?

How come some people manage to attain great success while others stay stuck where they are?

What is it that successful people do that unsuccessful people don’t?

Is there a magic formula that only successful people know about?

The answer to all these questions is very simple and can be achieved with three simple steps.

  • Continuous Learning
  • Self Belief
  • Hard Work

It’s that simple. The three keys to success behind every successful person you ever met, read about or saw on TV are the same. They may be put to you in other ways. They be broken down into smaller, bite size chunks or sold to you as a work shop or online programme; but the fact remains that all that is standing between you and great success are continuous learning, self belief and hard work!

CONTINUOUS LEARNING

I recently wrote about Jack Canfields ‘Hour of Power’ in A happier, healthier you in 3 simple steps! and one of the things he says to do in your ‘Hour of Power’ is to read for twenty minutes a day. The importance of this is that we should never stop trying to improve ourselves and our minds. Jack recommends reading motivational books, articles and news reports. Brian Tracy is another great believer in constant learning. He says:

….develop the habit of continuous lifelong learning….

We are never too old, or too young, to start learning something new. It is never too late to improve on the knowledge we already have. We can never know all there is to know about anything. Continuous learning makes us grow as human beings. It teaches us things we never imagined we would be able to do. Our success in everything from business, to relationships, to life in general starts with learning. We learn from our mistakes and our failures. We learn from our fellow man. Treat every experience as an opportunity to learn.

The key is to commit to your continued learning. Read every day. If it’s your relationships you want to make more successful, dedicate your reading to books about building great relationships and improving relationships. Learn how to look to yourself to improve on your relationships. What can you do to improve yourself and, therefore, your relationships.

If you want to make your business more successful, commit to learning more about your specific area of business or field of expertise. Learn more about your competitors and customers. Read books and magazines that relate to your business.

Seek out a mentor. Find someone who you aspire to become as successful as and ask them for support and advice. Approach them and ask if they would be prepared to mentor you. Don’t think in terms of how much something will cost you, that is not how you get what you want. You need to think in alignment with what you want, you need to match the vibration of what it is you desire.

SELF BELIEF

Successful people all have one major thing in common, they all have an abundance of self belief. They believe, without question, that they are successful. This does not mean that they don’t have doubt or worry or fear, of course they do, they wouldn’t be human if they didn’t. The difference between successful people and those who are not successful is that they don’t allow that doubt or worry or fear to stop them going after their goals. They use it to drive them forwards. They don’t make decisions based on these negative emotions. They don’t let doubt or fear or worry stand in their way. They face their fears head on and just push on through!

The key is they have a goal, a clear vision of what they want. They don’t limit themselves by thinking they can only go so far. To successful people, there are no limits. They think strategically not reactively. They match their thinking to their goal. Successful people believe that everything is possible.

Jim Roth’s famous quote. If you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with then it figures that you should surround yourself with successful, positive, motivational people who all have similar goals and visions as you. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and encourage you. If you look at successful people you will notice that the people they surround themselves with are all very similar in terms of success and vision.

Success is not just financial or business success. To be truly successful means to have balance and abundance in all areas of your life; work, relationships, financial freedom. The freedom to travel and enjoy life and spend time with the ones you love. Freedom to give. Freedom to help and support others less fortunate than yourself.

HARD WORK

You cannot and will not achieve anything without action! Successful people know this and work hard to achieve their goals. They know that in order to be the best version of themselves they must push themselves and take action every day. Nothing is ever achieved by sitting around dreaming. Your dreams can only become reality if you take action. Nobody can do it for you. Only you can make your dreams come true. Only you can make your vision a reality.

Do what you can with what you have.

Successful people were not always successful. They started with what they had, they worked hard and they watched as their businesses grew. Lord Alan Sugar started by selling car aerials out of a van he bought for £50, in 2016 his estimated fortune was £1.15 billion!

You may not have thousands of pounds in the bank, you may not know all the answers, but as long as you have a clear vision and you make the choice, to take the first step and not let doubt and fear and worry stop you in your tracks then you are already a success. Push yourself. Take action every day. Commit to work hard to achieve your goals. Follow the three keys to success and you cannot fail. It is the law of the universe. You are the creator of you world. Create something great!

When the universe keeps sending you signs, it’s time to pay attention and take action!

I am a strong believer in higher guidance and universal alignment. I believe that we should always take notice of the signs that are all around us, the messages that we receive. We have an inner guidance system that continually pushes us towards what we desire. This is why it is so important to take notice of what is happening all around us. To take notice of the messages that the universe is sending us and why it is vital that we are mindful of our thoughts.

OUR THOUGHTS CREATE OUR REALITY!

Don’t allow rogue thoughts to attract what you don’t want into your reality. The universe send us what we ask for!

Recently, every email I have received and every blog post I have read has been a reminder that we are creatures of habit. We don’t even realise we are doing the same things over and over again. We get stuck in a routine and just keep repeating the same old habits on a daily basis, like a needle stuck on a broken record. Sometimes our habits are good and lead us on to create great things in our lives, but, sometimes, our habits are bad and lead us into failure and disappointment.

Like I said, every thing I seem to read recently has been on this subject so I thought it was about time I started to take notice and take a look at some of my own bad habits and what I could do to change them. I mentioned in a previous post The 90 Day New Habit Challenge with Brilliance Within that I had signed up to a 90 day new habit challenge that one of my fellow bloggers has set up. You can join the challenge by using the link above. This was just one of many signs I have received about changing my habits. Several books I have read recently have all had similar messages about the habits we form and how they can either drive us forward to success or hold us back and lead us to failure.

Yesterday, alone, I had three emails all about changing our habits!

So I thought it was time I started really listening to the universal messages that were being sent to me. I’ve started my The 90 Day New Habit Challenge with Brilliance Within and I have to say I’m really enjoying it. I’ll keep you posted with my progress.

One of the key points I have picked up through my recent reading is that whenever we start to form a new habit or change a bad one for a good one we have to remember that we are reprogramming our brains. Our brains are like robots and they need to be programmed to work how we want them to. We can’t just flick a switch one day and say “OK, I’ve done it this way my whole life but now I want to do it that way” and expect our robot brains to just go “Oh, OK”, it just doesn’t work like that.

Let me use smoking as an example; for those of you who smoke, or have ever smoked, you will know that when you start it is never a good experience, but for some reason you keep at at until, hey presto, you’re hooked. You keep trying over and over until one day you don’t cough your guts up when you inhale, it doesn’t taste awful and you start to actually enjoy smoking, then, you need it, you’re hooked! You have created a habit through persistent repetition!

It’s the same for any habit. You repeat something over and over until your brain says “OK, so we’re doing this every day now. Righto!” And so the habit is formed and becomes a part of your every day life. It is no longer a challenge, no longer something that feels strange to do. It becomes as natural as getting up in morning or brushing your teeth. It becomes HABIT!

The thing is that habits, good or bad, appear to be easier to create than they are to break. This is great when creating new, good habits, but a little more frustrating when trying to break those old, locked in, bad habits. The good news is that it just takes a little perseverance and a lot of repetition. All you need to do is decide what habits you want to break and what ones you want to create.

Now, don’t go in like a bull in a china shop and try to break all your old, bad habits, all at once, while trying to create loads of new, good habits at the same time. If you do that you are setting yourself up for failure. Below are some of the tips I have learned over the last few days from all the great life changing gurus I subscribe to:

  • Start with just one habit you want to change
  • Take it day by day. One step at a time
  • Don’t give up if one day you relapse back into a bad habit or don’t stick to your daily target towards your good habit. Start over fresh tomorrow; remember breaking/creating new habits takes time and practice
  • Tell people about what you’re doing. You are less likely to give up if you know other people are watching your progress
  • Seek support from friends and family. Good support will boost your chances of success and receiving encouragement from people who matter to you will also boost your confidence and keep you motivated
  • Know what your end goal is. Why are you doing this? What do you want to achieve? Having a goal to focus on gives you something to work towards and keeps you going when you are struggling the most
  • Give yourself a pat on the back at the end of each successful day. If you’re finding it hard the next day remind yourself that you got through yesterday so you can get through today. ONE DAY AT A TIME!
  • Believe in yourself. You CAN do this

It’s never going to be easy to reprogram your brain. You have spent a lifetime doing things in a certain way and it will feel alien trying to turn it around, but it is so worth it. Great results require hard work, lots of effort, perseverance and repetition. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. If it was it wouldn’t be worthwhile!

We are the Masters of Our Universe!

Hello everyone, I hope I find you all well and rested from the weekend?

I have to tell you that I had a lovely weekend of rest and relaxation with my wonderful family. I did think this weekend was going to be a bit of a let down, as we had no plans, and after the busy weekend we had last week for my birthday, I thought it might fall a bit flat. As it was I spent Saturday morning catching up on chores (not so exiting, I know, but the end result always fills me with  a sense of achievement and pride), then I snuggled up on the sofa with my youngest daughter and ‘the hubby’ to watch a good film, followed by a scrummy dinner. Sunday was just as lazy. Tea with a friend in the morning while hubby was at the gym (I’m not allowed at the moment because of my ongoing back problem), pruning and weeding in the garden (I love spending time in my garden, even if I am working), we cooked a delicious Sunday roast, we all watched another film (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! I highly recommend it if you haven’t already watched it) and generally lazing about like a sloth!

Oh, I also had a couple of lovely walks with the beast that is Archie (see below).

Aside from general slothing about for most of the weekend I did read two wonderful books. The first was As a Man Thinketh by James Allen, the second was The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale. Both books I have read before and shall definitely read again. The Strangest Secret was originally an audio recording that has since been transferred to eBook format but can still be listened to in it’s original format.

What I love about both of these books is their simplicity. There are no airs and graces, no pretence to be anything other than what they are. Straightforward, simple messages, that are as profound today as they were when they were first published (or, in the case of The Strangest Secret, recorded).

One of my other favourite books to read is The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D Wattles. This is another book I return to regularly. All three remind me that I have the power, WE have the power, to be, do or have, whatever our hearts desire. All we have to do is believe. Everything that is in our life now is there because of a thought we had in the past. Everything, good and bad, is here due to our own making. We have the power to create our lives and shape them any way we choose. It is us who control our destiny, not fate or our friends and family, not politicians or our employers, we are the masters of our universe and we have to take responsibility for that once and for all!

In James Allen’s book he talks about the affect thought has on our lives. How it affects our health, our jobs, our relationships and our surroundings. It is a great reminder that we must take more responsibility for our thoughts, for we are the only ones who can control them. It is us who decides if we have good thoughts or bad thoughts. It is us who decides our fate by choosing pure or impure thought processes. What we have created as our lives is solely down to us. If we do not like what we see we must change the way we think in order to change the results we get. No man can think for another. No man can impress his thoughts into anothers mind to change the way he thinks or acts. Only we can change who we are and how we think and ultimately what we create.

It is time we take stock of our lives and what we have created. Have we achieved all we wanted to achieve? Are we happy with our lot? Do we feel good about what we have and how we came by it? Now that is a question!

For if to achieve all that we can we have betrayed and hurt others, used our fellow man to meet our own gain, then we will never be happy. No matter how many riches we may gain or how much success we might have, if it is attained by devious means then it will haunt us for all our days. We will suffer in other ways, as the impurity of our thoughts and actions must come back to us. It is the law of the universe. What we think, we become. It cannot be that we have wicked thoughts and actions and not receive results pertaining to those thoughts and actions. Be sure, that in the search for greatness, you always hold your fellow man close to your heart. We are all born with a life purpose and that purpose should be for the greater good of all. We must all work together to help one another, work to improve not only our lives but the lives of others. To share in our knowledge and abundance for the good of all, there can be no greater blessing. I am not saying that you should give away all that you have worked so hard for or that you should feel guilt at your success. I am saying that what you do should in some way or another be for the good of others, as well as yourself.

We live in an age where we want everything and we want it now. Everything we have ever desired is at the tip of our fingers. There is no waiting, no anticipation. Everything is instant. Because of this we have lost the joy in what we have. Sure we have fleeting moments of excitement when something new arrives but it doesn’t last long and then we are looking for the next quick fix to feed our ego and stroke our materialistic desires.

One of the things I read over the weekend is something that touches me every time I read it. The words are so simple but so true. It is something we all forget, especially in the throw away society we have created for ourselves where even the most expensive trinket is but a disposable toy, easily replaced by the next big thing.

“Everything that’s really worthwhile in life came to us for free: our mind, our soul, our body, our hopes, our dreams, our ambitions, our intelligence, our love of family and children and friends. All these priceless possessions are free, but the things that cost us money are actually very cheap and can be replaced at any time.” – Earl Nightingale

These words never fail to touch my soul. How true they are. For we strive to achieve money, fame, success, material possessions beyond our wildest dreams; but these are but worthless idealism’s if we do not first appreciate what was given to us for free. For me the most priceless of them all is the love of my family. For without the giving and receiving of love we are but a shell, empty and worthless. Love is the starting point for all good thought. For when we start with love, our intention is love and our thoughts and actions reflect that, therefore what we get back, by universal law, can only be good.

How to use the Law of Attraction for weight loss!

Weight management is a huge business in today’s society. Every day there seems to be a new pill or drink to take or a new exercise regime that claims to top all it’s predecessors in it’s weight loss success. Every celebrity (and non-celebrity) has something to say on the subject. Most having their own brand of miracle set to transform us all from mere mortals to uber toned, sleek, god like images of perfection!

Social media is flooded with reality TV stars who started their careers as ‘normal’ people with wobbly bums and tums, natural boobs, faces with bumps in their noses, spots, hair that wasn’t always perfectly blow dried and lips that weren’t inflated like exploding airbags. These ‘stars’ have now miraculously transformed themselves, seemingly over night, into such visions of perfection that it leaves the likes of you and I looking in the mirror ready to buy into anything they want to sell us so we too can achieve this totally unattainable perfection!

They claim to have attained their god like figures through eating and exercise plans that they have developed and can now pass on to you and I, at a cost of course! We can sign up for subscriptions, buy their food supplements and protein drinks, exercise dvd’s, cook books, multi-vitamins, gym wear, hair extensions, eyelashes, make-up……. the list goes on and on!

Yes, they are honest about their journey from hitting rock bottom, being overweight and their struggle in such a cut throat industry but at the end of the day they are still only trying to sell us their products.

Whatever happened to good, honest, healthy eating and exercise? When did the lines get blurred between reality and a snapchat filter?

At forty something I realise that I may no longer be in my prime when it comes to silky smooth, wrinkle free skin. My boobs may be lower than they were ten years ago and my bum may now resemble a deflated balloon. All this I am aware of. I am also aware that if I exercised a bit more, ate a bit healthier and drank a little more water (and a bit less wine) I could feel a little fitter, look a little better and a little younger. However, my little pea brain wants to know why I can’t look like the ‘celebs’ on my Instagram feed! The body dismorphia demon sits on my shoulder as I look in the mirror and whispers sweet (more like sour) nothings into my ear.

“…are you boobs supposed to look like that? Celeb A has a cracking set of knockers and she’s ten years older than you!”

“…how come you can’t eat a burger and have a figure like what’s her face…”

Oh God, the torment goes on and on! What my demented pea brain fails to realise is that ‘so and so’ has a face full of botox, a make up artist, a personal hair dresser and a stylist all at hand to get her TV ready three hours before she goes on air. Or that ‘Celeb A’ has had her knockers lifted, boosted and tweeked more times than anyone cares to recall and ‘what’s her face’ has a stream of personal trainers to kick her butt back into shape after said burger (probably the first proper meal she’s had since 1989! Meoow!).

OK, so that’s a bit harsh. The truth is, as beautiful as these celebs are (and they are most definitely beautiful) they don’t do it alone. They have ‘people’ to do their hair and make-up, they have their wrinkles erased, they have personal trainers and nutritionists and they also don’t work your standard nine to five. Their whole life is scheduled for them. When to eat, sleep, workout, go out, holiday, the list is endless. As glamorous as it all seems it is bloody hard work and they probably have less free time than you and I. Most have an amazing work ethic and sacrifice more than we will ever know to have the ‘celeb’ lifestyle and look we will buy anything achieve.

So how can we achieve our dream bodies and fitness goals?

How can we use the Law of Attraction to lose weight and get fit and healthy?

The answer, the same way we use the Law of attraction to achieve everything else in our lives!

Belief. Visualisation. Affirmation. Commitment. ACTION!

  1. BELIEVE – You must have total faith and belief that you can do this. If there is any doubt in your mind the signals you send out to the universe will be negative. You must keep your thoughts positive and your vibration high so the signals you send out are what you want to get back. REMEMBER, thoughts become things. If you don’t believe you can do it then you have already failed!
  2. VISUALISE – Visualise yourself fit and healthy. Picture what you will look like once you reach your goal. Imagine yourself taking regular exercise and eating healthful foods. Allow your visualisation to create strong feelings of happiness and gratitude at having reached your desired goal. Feel how good you feel and how much you love exercising and eating healthy. Picture yourself in that perfect outfit or looking hot in your bikini! Visualise people complementing you on your success and imagine how that will make you feel. Write your vision down and read it every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to bed until it is so ingrained in your subconscious that it feels like reality.
  3. AFFIRMATION – Say daily affirmations. “I AM fit and healthy”, “I AM at my perfect weight”, “I AM enjoying eating healthy foods every day”, “I love exercising and it makes me feel so happy”, “I love myself, inside and out”, “I am a beautiful person”. REMEMBER it is so important to love yourself inside and out. If you do not learn to love yourself from the inside then it won’t matter what you look like on the outside, you will never be happy. Beauty comes from within. Without self love no amount of healthy eating, exercise or make-up can make you happy. 
  4. COMMITMENT – You must commit to the changes you want to make. Without commitment it is all just an empty dream! Set yourself small, achievable goals. Don’t over commit or you will fall at the first hurdle and give up feeling worse than you did when you started. Small goals are easier to achieve and will give you a real sense of achievement when you reach them. You won’t feel overwhelmed either and are more likely to stick to your plan. Don’t quit, even if you do fall at the first hurdle. Pick yourself up and start over. Remember One small step…..
  5. ACTION – YOU MUST TAKE ACTION! All of the above are empty words without action. The most important step in utilising the Law of Attraction is taking action! The Twelve Laws of the Universe #1

Start today, not tomorrow or next week, or after the weekend or your sisters wedding or you grans birthday. Start right now! Make the decision that you are going to commit to getting fit and healthy right now. Believe you can do it! Visualise! Start your affirmations! Make a commitment, even if it’s just telling someone what you plan to do (you are more likely to stick to something if you tell someone else about it because you then feel committed and won’t want to feel silly by not doing what you said you would). ACT! Start today!

Five Day Feel Good Challenge! #5

Well here we are on our final day. How have you all found the challenge? I hope you have enjoyed it and are feeling good!

It’s surprising what we learn about ourselves when we start to really think about it and put pen to paper.

At the start of the week I asked you all to write down what you wanted to change about your lives. How these changes would make you feel and what your life would be like if these changes actually happened.

On day two I asked you to list what action you needed to take, how you were going to go about taking these actions and to set yourself a time limit for each action. I advised you to break your actions down into smaller, more achievable goals so as not to overwhelm yourself, but also because by taking smaller steps you reach your goals quicker and feel a sense of achievement which spurs you onto the next challenge in reaching your ultimate goal.

Day three was all about gratitude. Standing back and taking notice of the blessings already in your life. This makes you realise how blessed you already are and sends out a higher frequency to the universe, a frequency of gratitude and of having enough. The universe then responds by sending you more people and things to be grateful for! Gratitude is the No.1 factor in utilising the Law of attraction!

Day four was all about giving. My favourite part of the week so far! There is no nicer feeling than knowing you have helped make someone else’s day a little better in some small way or another. I was at the supermarket yesterday and there were no trolley’s. An older man saw me looking for a trolley and gave me his before getting himself another one. He didn’t have to do it, but he did. It was a small, random act of kindness that made my day just a little bit easier. What the man didn’t know was that I was really in a lot of pain and that small act of kindness meant I didn’t have to walk right to the other end of the car park to find a trolley. As it was I bumped into him again several times whilst doing my shopping and had some very pleasant conversation with him in the queue at the checkout. He was a lovely, cheery gentleman and he made my normally humdrum shopping experience all the more enjoyable. I left the supermarket with a renewed faith in humanity and continued my day doing as many random acts of kindness as I could!

Moral of the story……… random acts of kindness cost nothing but mean so much!

So, back to today. Today I want you to look back at all your worksheets from this week. The beginning of the week may have felt like a bit of a struggle, especially day two! But by today you should be filled with a renewed sense of joy having spent the last two days concentrating on your blessings and sharing with your fellow-man.

I want you to use that joy to raise your vibration and set your frequency to HIGH! Use the momentum to drive you forward with the plan you set out in day two. Start today to take those action steps towards your ultimate goal.

Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today! – Benjamin Franklin

As those of you who read my blog regularly will know, one of my dreams is to write a book. So to make this dream a reality I broke down my action steps into smaller more achievable/believable goals. I took the advice of the ever inspiring Jack Canfield and decided to write a page a day. This is an achievable goal, it does not fill me with fear and dread that I am going to miss my deadline and fail at the first hurdle. I don’t feel overwhelmed by having to write a whole chapter in one sitting. It is something I know is possible and I can fit into my day no matter how busy I am. Nine times out of ten I write much more than one page and this just spurs me on because I feel that not only have I achieved what I set out to achieve that day but I also exceeded my target. Each day I can see my pages slowly developing into a book. My dream is slowly coming together one page at a time. All those feelings I wrote about on day one are starting to manifest. I have moments of inspiration every day. With each page I write I can feel myself moving closer and closer to where I want to be. My book is just one of the things on my ‘dream’ list but as I see this dream unfolding my faith in God and the universe increases and I feel that I can achieve anything.

Start your dream life today and see how much you can achieve. Dream big. Nothing is off-limits. We can all be, do and have anything we want in life but we must take responsibility, take action and have unconditional belief and faith, not only in the universe to deliver but in ourselves and our own abilities!

Five Day Feel Good Challenge! #3

Well, we are almost half way there! How’s it going for all of you? By now you should all have a clear plan about:

  1. What you want to change in your life
  2. How those changes will make you feel
  3. What you life will be like when those changes manifest
  4. What action steps you need to take to make those changes happen
  5. How you are going to achieve those action steps
  6. A time limit on achieving those actions

Now, I know, the last two days has been a bit of a challenge, especially yesterday. So today we are going to focus on having some fun and making ourselves feel really good about what we already have in our lives!

Today I want you to write about all the wonderful things you already have in your life. I want you to write down in detail about all the beautiful people who bless your life daily. Write about the things that make you smile and laugh out loud. I want to you to write about your favourite pastime, your best friend, your loving family. Write down all the great things you have achieved in your life, even if you think it is only something small, if it made you feel happy or proud write it down.

Today’s worksheet is about raising your vibration by showing gratitude for what you already have. Unless you are grateful for what you already have you will not be able to manifest anything better. Get your gratitude on!

It isn’t until you start to think about what you have already that you realise how truly blessed you really are. You also start to see how far you have come so far and how much you have achieved.

Looking at what we have makes us think about what we went through to get it. Maybe we had to go through a time of struggle to save enough money for a dream kitchen or a child’s birthday present. Looking back does the time of struggle seem so bad in comparison to what you achieved? Was the blessing greater than the sacrifice? I bet the answer is yes!

Realising what we have makes us more aware of what we can achieve. Being grateful for what we have increases the love in our hearts and aligns us with ever bigger and better things. Once you start to take notice of your blessings you will be surprised at what you have already. You will realise that maybe you are closer to your dream that you first thought.

Using today’s worksheet look again at yesterday’s sheet. Think about the actions you wrote down. Now look at what you have already achieved on today’s sheet and think about what actions you took to reach those goals. Did you ever have doubts or moments when you thought you weren’t going to achieve what you did? Was it as hard as you thought to achieve what you have already. Was the struggle worth the prize?

When we start to compare what we have to what we had we can see how far we have come. We can also see that what we still desire is much more attainable than we first thought because the things we have now we once considered unattainable too.

Using the gratitude section on the worksheet raises our vibration and opens up our minds and our eyes to what we have achieved so far. Not everything on your sheets will be material belongings, in fact most things we are grateful for and feel most blessed to have are not things at all but people. Realising this puts everything into perspective. It’s the people in our lives that matter. They are the ones who add to our joy. They are also the ones that we want to achieve our dreams for, so we can give them everything they desire. This is the driving force you want to harness to push you forward on your quest!

Five Day Feel Good Challenge! #2

Hi everyone! I hope I find you all well and excited for today’s challenge? How did you get on yesterday? Five Day Feel Good Challenge! #1

I hope you all managed to have a go at the worksheet and that you found it helpful to actually concentrate and focus on what it is you really want.

How did it make you feel writing down what you wanted to change about your life. I bet you had to really think about it for a while. It’s so easy to imagine a completely new life, but when you have to break it down into the changes you need make to make it happen it’s not always so easy. Our negative limiting beliefs start to kick in and we start to think it’s not possible all over again. We start to put barriers up and make excuses and before we know it we are telling ourselves that we don’t really want those changes after all.

That’s why today we are going to ignore those pesky limiting beliefs, we are going to use the worksheet from yesterday and we are going to get a plan of action down. Once you start to write down what action you need to take to get you to your dream destination it starts to appear more achievable and you start to believe that you really can live your dream. The more you believe, the higher your vibration, the higher your vibration the more aligned you become with what you want and the more the universe will conspire to move people and events to help you achieve your dream!

I’ve said it many times before in order to manifest anything we must take action! We don’t need to know how it’s all going to come together. We don’t even need to know how we are going to do it. We just have to believe we can have, do, be anything we want and take positive action steps in the right direction. One small step…..

Here are some tips for today’s worksheet:

  1. Look at yesterday’s worksheet and what you have said you would like to change about your life. Think carefully about each change and break them down into smaller parts. Think about what changes you can make to move you one step closer to your goal. For example, if you dream of being a bestselling author think about what you would want to write about. Plan to write every day. Research. Research agents and publicists who specialise in your particular genre of writing. Research other writers and their back stories of how they got started. This small action starts the ball rolling. It gets you into the mindset of being an author.Tell people what you are doing. Once you do this it creates a sense of commitment and makes you more inclined to stick to your plan.
  2. Now you know what action you need to take how are you going to go about it? What are you actually going to do to make sure you take the actions you listed in question one? Think about what you feel is holding you back now and what you can do to change that. Sitting on the coach, watching TV is not going to get you anywhere.
  3. Set yourself deadlines for each action. When they are broken down into smaller parts this is so much easier to do and feels so much more achievable. You are less likely to give up and reaching your goal will spur you on to the next step towards your dream life.

With each achievement your vibration will increase and you will notice that things manifest faster and faster. You will start to become more receptive to your intuition and the synchronicity that occurs in your life. Things will begin to fall into place more and more and you will soon expect the best to happen and not the worst. Your limiting beliefs will disappear and be replaced with confidence and expectation of better and better things. You will no longer doubt your ability and will just know that whatever you focus on will come to pass by the divine law of the universe. Taking action will become second nature to you because you will believe that whatever you do will ultimately lead to success.
