The Twelve Laws of the Universe #6

download (1)

Welcome to the final part in this six part series on the Twelve Laws of the Universe. I hope it has been as enjoyable for you to read as it has been for me to write.

I have learnt a lot whilst working on this series and it has also made me realise where I have been falling short in my own journey with the Laws of the Universe.

There have been moments, along the way, where my faith has wavered, but, on the whole, I have overcome these hurdles and have learnt a great deal about myself, my journey, the Universal Laws and how we can all apply them to our own lives. Most importantly, for me, I have realised that this is truly what I want to do in life. I want to help others discover the power they have within them to become whatever they want to be. To have the life they have always dreamed of. I am not there yet, but I know I am on my way. I now fully understand the ebb and flow and how it is all a part of the journey.

Today we are looking at the Law of Rhythm and the Law of Gender.

The Law of Rhythm

Everything flows, out and in; everything has it’s tides;

all things rise and fall;

the pendulum swing manifests in everything;

the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left;

rhythm compensates – Kybalion

The Law of Rhythm teaches us that everything has a flow. If it goes up it must come down, it swings to the left, therefore, it must swing to the right. Ebb and flow, to and fro, in and out.

As we learnt with the Law of Polarity everything has an opposite. If it goes one way it must go the other way. We have high points in life and low points. We cannot have one without the other. The trick is to remember that when the chips are down things can only get better.

“When you are on a down swing, do not feel bad. Know the swing will change and things will get better. There are good times coming, think of them.” – Bob Proctor

There is an order to everything. Nothing is ever chaotic. The Law of Rhythm is always working. We see it in nature, in our seasons. One flows effortlessly into the other.

We see it in our economy. Before every low there is a high and after every high there is a low. It is the Law.

There is a rhythm to everything. We are born and we die. For every death there is a birth. The circle of life continues. Order prevails. The natural rhythm of life continues moving in an orderly fashion.

To apply this Law to our lives we must remember that for every low there must, by Law, follow a high. Do not look upon the low periods in your life as punishments or never ending holes of despair. See them for what they are, lessons preparing you for the high that is on it’s way. How can you truly appreciate the highs without the lows. Without one there cannot be the other. Everything happens for a reason, we must find the reason and learn from it in order to allow the pendulum to swing the other way. We must accept the low periods for what they are and move with the flow of the tide. If we chose not to accept them then we will forever be fighting against the tide and ultimately the tide always wins and we will be left defeated and exhausted.

The Law of Gender

Image result for law of gender

The Law of Gender is as simply as it sounds. Every masculine has a feminine and visa versa. In the physical realm we are all manifest in either masculine or feminine form but ultimately we are all androgynous with both male and female qualities it is only our dominant quality that determines our gender on the physical plane.

Everything in nature has it’s masculine and feminine. This is how everything is created. We cannot have one without the other. Both parts are needed. We must accept this in order to progress and grow. No side is more important, stronger or dominant than the other. One cannot work without the other. To fully appreciate all there is in life one must accept this Law. We were all created equal. Opposite sides of the same coin.

“This is, in truth, the Creative Law. This Law decrees that everything in nature is both male and female. Both are required for life to exist.” – Bob Proctor

This Law tells us that all things need time to grow. Everything from a human child to a mighty oak takes time. We must nurture it and allow it the time to germinate, to sprout and to slowly transform into the wondrous creation it was meant to be. We cannot rush nature. To rush nature is to interrupt the process and in doing so we ultimately damage the end result.

Think of your dreams as tiny seeds that need to be planted, tended to, watered, loved and cared for. Each stage requires a different level of care. You cannot rush the process or the seedling will die before it has had chance to grow. Your dreams are the same. You must nurture them, love and care for them. Allowing them time to manifest. To reach your true potential you have to allow yourself time to grow.

I read a beautiful story on another blog (Sparklyjen.com) about a butterfly that I think fits this law perfectly.

Thank you for joining me on this six week journey through the Laws of the Universe. I really hope they have helped inspire you in some way and that you have a better understanding of how the Universal Laws work. I think it is clear that they are all needed for us to manifest a life that fulfils our true potential.

Below are the links to the other five posts in this series if you have not had a chance to read them.

Please feel free to comment or email me your feedback as it is always gratefully received.

Hello again everyone. I hope I find you all well?

I hope you have all had a chance to read the other four posts in this series, if not you can catch up on them using the links at the end of this post. I have had some really positive emails and comments about this series so far and look forward to hearing more from you all.

In today’s post I will be looking at the Law of Relativity and the Law of Polarity. Some of you may already be familiar with these Laws but for those of you who are not let us explore further.

The Law of Relativity

Image result for the law of relativity

The Law of Relativity teaches us to compare our problems to the problems of others. What may appear like a catastrophic event to us, when compared to the problem of another, suddenly pails into insignificance. Things begin to be put into perspective. As my mum always said:

“There is always someone worse off.”

Now I know that sounds harsh, looking for someone who is worse off than you to make yourself feel better, but that is not the meaning of this Law. The point is that no matter how bad a situation seems to you, there will always be someone in a worse situation, thus making your problem seem not so bad after all.

For example; we look at our busy lives and complain that we have little time to socialise or relax, yet when compared to someone in one of the third world countries, for example, you begin to realise how lucky we are in our western society. Everything is relative. In our modern world we have become so obsessed with technology and material possessions, we have lost site of the simple things in life and forgotten how blessed we are to have running water, food in our bellies and a roof over our head. We are not in war torn cities, fearing for our lives, not knowing where our next meal is coming from. Our main concern is that we might lose internet connection for a few minutes!!!

Everything only exists because it is made real by it’s comparison to something else:

  • Light vs dark
  • Hot vs cold
  • Good vs evil
  • Big vs small

It is all relative. It is all about how we relate it to something else.

You may think you don’t have enough money until you compare yourself to someone else. To them you may appear rich as they have far less than you. The Law of Relativity says we should stop comparing ourselves to those who have far more than us because this only serves to make us have feelings of lack. These feelings of lack are sent out into the Universe as vibrations of what we want more of so we will be sent more things to make us feel we don’t have enough (bills, debt etc.)

By comparing ourselves to those less fortunate than us we begin to appreciate how lucky we really are and how blessed our lives are. We begin to be grateful for what we do have, therefore sending out feelings of abundance and gratitude. Our vibrations become positive and the Universe will send us more things to be grateful for, more abundance!

This Law reminds us that what we believe we have is all relative in comparison to someone or something else. We can use it to our advantage or to our disadvantage, depending on our outlook.

There will always be someone who has more than you, someone who can run faster than you, is smarter than you. But in comparison there will always be someone who has less than you, runs slower than you or is not as smart as you. Look at what you have and be thankful. Be positive about your situation. Look for the good in everything.

It’s all about how you look at the world around you!

If you are grateful for what you have now you will always have enough because the Universe will ensure you always have things to be grateful for.

Check out my Friday Share from 05/05/2017 for a little reminder.

The Law of Polarity

Nothing is one sided. There are two sides, or poles, to everything. Everything has an opposite. The difference in between the two extremes is called polarity.

Everything has an opposite.

The Law of Polarity states that opposites are just different manifestations of the same thing.

Sir Isaac Newton said that:

“every action has and equal, and opposite, reaction”

The purpose of the Universe is equilibrium and synchronicity. It is said that love and hate are actually the same emotion. For how can you hate someone you have never truly loved. Only someone you love can stir such emotion in you to cause you to hate them because only the actions of someone you love could hurt you so deeply that the love could turn to hate.

The Law of Polarity enables us to experience life at it’s fullest. Without experiencing one thing how can we appreciate another?

How can you appreciate heat if you have never experienced cold?

How can you appreciate abundance if you have never experienced struggle?

  • Love vs hate
  • Hot vs cold
  • Good vs bad
  • Big vs small
  • Failure vs success

All things work together. Without one you cannot have the other. Therefore, all things, good and bad, success and failure, abundance and austerity must work for the higher good.

All is Love

Sometimes you have to experience adversity to appreciate prosperity, sadness to appreciate joy. The Law is there to teach us. To help us learn and discover.

In every failure we find success

Image result for inventor of lightbulb 10000 fail quote

If Thomas Edison had not failed he would never have invented the light bulb and we’d all be sitting in the dark! If it had not been dark he would never have tried in the first place!

Every situation is only ‘good’or ‘bad’ by how we perceive it. Something you consider to be bad another may think is good. Take a step back, look again, is it as bad as you first thought? Is there a lesson to be learnt?

Every one of us is sent a series of lessons. We must learn from these lessons before we can move forward. If we do not learn then the lesson will keep manifesting in different ways until we learn what is has been sent to teach us.

Look for the positive in EVERY situation!

By looking for the good in all situations we will learn our lessons quicker and progress faster.

The same is true for people. Always look for the good in everyone. Positive thoughts create positive energy and send out good vibrations to the Universe and as we know the Universe then sends back more things to be positive about!

You can see that, as with the other Laws we have looked at, there are strong similarities in these two Laws. The general thread through all the Laws is the same. It is about working with all the Laws to achieve our dreams. At first this sounds daunting but as you learn more about each Law you realise that they are all interconnected and work seamlessly together. Please check out the other posts in this series below:

I hope you have all the enjoyed the series so far? If you haven’t had a chance to read the previous three posts yet you can use the links below to catch up. Please feel free to comment as your feedback is always welcomed and much appreciated. My intention with this series is to introduce you to all twelve laws of the universe (if you are not already familiar with them) and show you how they are all as equally important as the Law of Attraction when manifesting our dreams.

In this weeks post I am going to look at the Law of Compensation and the Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy (I know, it’s a bit of a mouthful but really not as scary as it sounds!)

The Law of Compensation

77emerson

Ralph Waldo Emerson said:

“Each person is compensated in a like manner for that which they have contributed.”

The Law of compensation is also known as the Law of Reaping and Sowing. Simply put, you get back what you put in.

If you are a happy person who always smiles and tries to do good for others around you, you will ultimately attract other people who are happy and good natured. The more you are happy and do good for others the more of the same you will attract. You will attract things into your life that are positive. On the flip side, if you are someone who is grumpy and constantly moaning you attract people who are also grumpy and moaning or you will ‘inflict’ you grumpiness onto others until they become grumpy and moany. Soon you will be surrounded by lots of grumpy, moany people who generate things to moan about!

The way you behave impacts on what you attract, or are compensated with. Therefore, say, think, act, how you want others to speak to you, think about you, act towards you. Give out what you want back. Approach everything from a place of positivity and love so that what you are sending out can only come back to you in such a manner.

Below are some ways you can to use the Law of Compensation:

  • Give what you have: Now I don’t mean leave yourself with nothing to give to another. I also don’t mean this merely in monetary terms. But always try to give to others and not squander everything for yourself. Be generous within your means.
  • Be what you want to see come back to you: If you want people to treat you with kindness and respect them make sure that is how you treat others.
  • Be charitable/volunteer: This is a great way of giving of yourself to help others.
  • Be productive: Don’t sit around waiting for someone else to do it for you, get up off your butt and get it done! You will never get anything back if you are not prepared to put something in!

“Give to every man more than you can take from him”

Wallace D Wattles – The Science of Getting Rich

This quote from one of my favourite books, The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D Wattles, is a clear indications of the Law of Compensation. Wallace D Wattles is not saying that you must always give in terms of money but ensure that whatever you take from someone you give more in return in terms of use value.

A great example of this is given in chapter six of his book when he describes selling a piece of artwork to an Eskimo in exchange for furs. He states that he has wronged him for the Eskimo has no use for fine art, but, he says, if he instead gives him a gun in exchange for the furs then the Eskimo has use for that and so he has given more in terms of ‘use value’. Think about it.

The Law of Compensation is not just about monetary rewards, it is about any blessing we receive in return for out actions, words, thoughts or feelings. Look out for the blessings that are bestowed upon you and be grateful for them. Look at what is around you. Your family, friends, loved ones, your relationships, your home, material possessions and so forth. See how abundant you truly are. It’s amazing how blessed we all are when we really look around us. If you don’t like what you see then you need to look inside yourself and see what you have put out, what have you sown?

You don’t get something for nothing!

If you want to increase what you get back try these tips below:

  • Think abundantly
  • Be grateful, show gratitude
  • Give your all. Always do the best you can in whatever you do.
  • Take action with a good heart. Do not give just to receive for that sends out low vibrations and negative energy and you will receive the same back. If you cannot give with a good heart then don’t bother!
  • Pay you bills without fear. Do not fear spending money as this sends the Universe messages of lack and that is what will come back to you.

Understand that every gain has a loss and every loss has a gain. We must be contented and grateful and not live in envy. The rich man may appear to have everything but what has he given up to achieve what he has? How many super, successful pop stars do we see that ‘appear’ to have it all then we see them sat on some chat show sofa talking about their lack of privacy and how their whole life is laid bare for criticism or their inability to have a meaningful relationships because they do not know who they can trust. I am not saying that we must not strive to achieve or manifest our dreams. It is good to want more than we have. We must, however, be grateful for what we have and understand that in receiving we must also give something up.

Your whole life is centred around the spirit of giving.

In short, what you put out into the Universe you get back.

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

Image result for the law of perpetual transmutation of energy

All of us has the ability to change our lives by changing our energy or vibration. In my previous post 9 Ways to raise your vibration I give you some tips on how to do this. Thankfully positive energy is far stronger than negative energy and has the power to transform any negative vibes you have been sending out. Therefore, transmuting the negative energy.

Energy is constantly moving. Wallace D Wattles says that it moves in and out of form. He also says that as we exhaust one form it makes room for another.

“Nature is an inexhaustible storehouse of riches; the supply will never run short.” Wallace D Wattles – The Science of Getting Rich

Energy is limitless!

We already know that our thoughts are energy. Therefore our thoughts will eventually appear as physical things.

thoughts-become-things-if-you-see-it-in-your-mind-you-will-hold-it-in-your-hand

This is why it is so important to keep your thoughts positive. Focus on the things you want to manifest for they can only, by Universal Law, become real in the physical world.

Image result for thought become things

The Universe does not judge your thoughts. If you are constantly having negative thoughts and thinking about the things you don’t want the Universe does not know that you don’t want these things and will begin to manifest what you are thinking about and feeling. You will receive more of what you don’t want!

But, like I said earlier, positive thoughts and feelings, positive energy, are far stronger than negative so if you start to notice negative situations, circumstances and things manifesting in your live change the way you think and feel. Change your energy from negative to positive. Lift your vibration.

Here are some tips to help you with this Law:

  • Make what you want your most dominant thought. This is what this Law responds to most
  • Keep your energy positive and your vibration high
  • Use positive affirmations
  • Visualise what you want to manifest
  • Create a vision board (I will be doing a post on this soon so)
  • Practice gratitude
  • Be mindful of your thoughts and feelings

IMG_20170428_233617_193

This Law tells us that energy is constantly moving into physical form and that physical form is the manifestation of the non-physical (thought).

Our thoughts create feelings that build ideas, these ideas lead us into action, actions manifest our ideas into physical being.

Can you see how all the Laws intertwine and must be used together for us to manifest our dreams. If you don’t like the life you have you must change it. Only you can do that. To do that you must first start with MIND.

The Twelve Laws of the Universe #3

download (1)

In this weeks post I am going to cover the Law of Correspondence and the Law of Cause and Effect. As with all the other laws you will see the repetition and similarities to the other laws I have already covered. There is a fine thread that runs through all twelve laws, linking them together intrinsically reinforcing the fact that to manifest your desires and master the Laws of the Universe you need to incorporate all twelve laws.

The fact they are all so similar makes it easy to blend them all together to fulfil a life of harmony, love, peace and unlimited abundance in every way.

the-emerald-tablet

The Law of Correspondence

“As above, so below”

“As within, so without”

“On Earth as it is in Heaven”.

as-above-so-below

This law states that whatever is happening in your life is a reflection or what is going on in your mind.

Your outer self is a direct reflection of your inner self. The conversations we have with ourselves create the realities we see on the outside. The same goes for the conversations we have with the universe or God. What we send out we receive back.

This should remind us again to be mindful of our thoughts for they create our reality. If you want to know what you are thinking just take a look at what’s around you. If you don’t like what you see change the way you correspond with yourself!

All our thoughts, feelings and beliefs manifest in our outer self.

All that we see in our universe is an outer expression and manifestation of the inner will of the infinite Mind.

This law highlights the fact that absolutely everything you have or experience within the physical world, i.e. relationships, friendships, material possessions, career success, finances etc, were all first created on the inside, in the MIND, and later manifested on the outside. Therefore, everything you experience in life is of your own making. This means that if you want a different reality in the physical plane first you must create it in the spiritual/mental plane.

Michael Jackson knew the answer…

The Law of Cause and Effect

Ralph Waldo Emerson said the Law of Cause and Effect is the “law of laws”.

“What goes around, comes around.”

“What you reap, you sow.”

download (2)

Some call it Karma. Some call it Fate. The point is that how you behave, how you speak to others, how you treat others will eventually come back and bite you on the arse!

If you are kind to people. If you treat people with love and respect then ultimately that is what you get back.

I hear you……

“Hang on, I’m kind to everyone but some people are just so rude!”

Let go…… that’s their issue. Just as you will be treated kindly by someone else, when you least expect it in return for your own kindness, they will be treated badly when they least expect it.

My mum always told me that “every action has a reaction”. Every cause has its own effect. Therefore, everything in our lives at this moment is a direct effect of a certain cause. Remember the equation from my post E+R=O Event+Response=Outcome. It’s the same principle. The Cause is the Event+Response, the Effect is the Outcome.

Can you see how these Laws are all linking together? The common thread is this:

  • Your thoughts create your reality
  • What you put out into the Universe is ultimately what you will get back
  • If you don’t like what’s going on on the outside world change what’s going on inside
  • Thoughts are powerful things
  • We can tell what we are thinking but what we are feeling and what we have created
  • We can change our reality at any time by changing the way we think and feel
  • Positive Mind creates positive life
  • Negative Mind creates negative life

So next time you say something, think something or do something think about the effect it will cause. Are you speaking from a place of love and respect? If not are you prepared to accept the consequences of your actions? How do you want to be treat/spoken to?

I hope you are enjoying this series on the Twelve Laws of the Universe and I hope you are learning something that will help you on your journey. If you missed the first two post you can catch up on them here:

Welcome to part two in my six weeks series on the twelve Universal Laws. If you missed part one you can catch up here:

https://wordpress.com/post/believereceiveachieveblog.wordpress.com/1188

In today’s post I am going to talk to you about the Law of Divine Oneness and the Law of Vibration. You will notice, as we move through the series, that all the Laws interconnect with each other and overlap in some way or another. This is why I feel so passionately about making sure people know about all twelve laws and not just the one we’re all familiar with, the Law of Attraction.

otheruniversallaws

The Law of Divine Oneness

“Learn how to see. Realise the everything is connected to everything else” – Leonardo da Vinci

We are all connected to everything and everyone around us. The greatest illusion there is is the illusion of separation.

It’s a bit of a mind blower, I know. But the truth is we are all connected. There is no escaping it.  Everything we think, say, do or believe has a corresponding effect on those around us. We are all connected by the infinite force that is energy. Energy permeates through every living thing and all the spaces in between. This energy, that connects us all is known by many names. God, the life force, The Holy Spirit, the list goes on and on. It is in all things seen and unseen. As children we are born feeling totally connected to everything around us. We have no concept of physical or material things. We feel nothing but love and peace. As we grow older and we use more and more of our conscious minds rather than our sub-conscious minds we gradually disconnect with the life force and start to believe that everything we see is all there is. We forget how to connect with the Earth and with those around us. We forget that we are here to live in harmony, not only with each other and the planet we live on, but with the greater universe and the celestial beings that have already passed through this world onto the next.

Every thought we have impacts something around us. Every action we take causes a reaction. What we send out we get back. Therefore, everything we do, say, feel and believe should come from a place of love. Love for ourselves, for every one and everything around us. For the more love we send out the more we get back. If you want good things to happen in your life you must send out good things.

“What we reap, we sow.”

How many times have you heard that saying?

One of the first books I read when I started this journey was The Celestine Prophecy. There are four books in the series detailing the twelve insights of the Celestine Vision

“All that any of us has to do is suspend our doubts and distractions just long enough… and miraculously, this reality can be our own.”

-The Celestine Prophecy

In the books the author shows us, through fictional stories, how to tune into our inner energy and connect with everything around us.

If we can understand that we are all connected and focus only on the good in our surroundings and our fellow man then we will surely live a life of peace and harmony. To fully be aware that there is no separation is to fully understand the true meaning of Divine Oneness. If we are already one then we have no need to constantly search for God or the higher being because we are already connected to the live force. We are connected to our beautiful planet, the plants, the animals, to each other. If there is no separation then nothing is beyond our reach. Anything is possible. You just need to match the frequency of what you want in order for it to be delivered!

xlaw-of-vibration.jpg.pagespeed.ic.vLQI_x3ZuV

The Law of Vibration

The Law of Vibration simply put says that everything, broken down into it’s most basic form, is energy and everything has it’s own vibration or frequency. You, me, the next door neighbours cat, the sun, the moon, the birds in the sky, even the 100 year old oak tree in the park. Every thought and feeling you have, has it’s own vibration. This is not some new age whimsical idea or notion, this has been scientifically proven through quantum physics.

einstein

Like attracts like. As you have good or positive thoughts, more good and positive situations come back to you. The same goes for negative. You chose to send out negative vibrations into the universe and the universe is gonna send it right back at ya!

You match the frequency you want back. If you want people to be nice to you then you have to be nice to others. That’s a nice easy one to start with. Your energy or vibration affects everything around you so make sure your vibration is positive.

This is where the Law of Vibration and the Law of Divine Oneness overlap. It is our vibration that makes us appear that we are separate from other things around us. Everything vibrates at different levels creating the illusion of separation. The truth is we are still all connected as one big mass of energy. It is only our vibration that makes us appear different from the tree or the dog or our friends and family.

The Law of Vibration is the foundation for the Law of Attraction for what we seek has it’s own vibration all we have to do is match that frequency!

300xnxlawofvibration.jpg.pagespeed.ic.ztl7tssvk9

If you want good things to happen to you, if you want a life full of love, happiness and abundance then you have to match that frequency! It’s no good sitting about moping and complaining that life always deals you a bad hand or that you’re unlucky because that’s the vibration you’ll be sending out and that’s all you’ll get back!

You need to align with your desires and dreams. Raise your vibration. Trust that what you seek is on it’s way. Release it into the universe to make space for your delivery. Only by raising your energy can you manifest what you desire.

I will be doing a new post on ways to raise your vibration soon. I will also be showing you how to cleanse the space in your home and work place to create positive energy and vibrations.
